Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Praxis (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or submitting feedback through Praxis, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Praxis lets users create teaching sessions, collect structured feedback via a shareable code or QR code, and export that feedback as portfolio evidence. Core features are free to use. Additional paid features may be introduced in future; where they are, separate pricing and billing terms will be shown before you're charged, and use of Stripe (our payment processor) will be subject to Stripe's own terms.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your password secure
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account
• One account per person — don't create accounts on behalf of others without their knowledge
• You can delete your account at any time by contacting us

Acceptable use

When using Praxis, you agree not to:

• Submit or request others submit patient-, client-, or otherwise identifiable third-party information in free-text feedback
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, spam the public feedback form, or otherwise abuse the service's availability
• Use Praxis to collect feedback under false pretences, or to impersonate someone else
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Content you submit

You retain ownership of the sessions, forms, and feedback content you create or that respondents submit through your sessions. By using Praxis, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content back to you (and, where relevant, to respondents) solely to provide the service — for example, generating a PDF export or a certificate.

You're responsible for how you use exported feedback and portfolio evidence, including complying with any professional, institutional, or regulatory obligations that apply to you.

Certificates

Proof-of-attendance certificates generated by Praxis are a self-service record based on information supplied by the respondent and the session owner. They are not independently verified or audited by us, and are not an official accreditation, qualification, or regulatory record. If a certificate is being used as evidence for a formal process (for example, a training portfolio or assessment), it's your responsibility to confirm it meets that process's requirements.

Availability

We aim to keep Praxis available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to modify, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time, including during maintenance or in response to issues with third-party providers we depend on.

Disclaimer & liability

Praxis is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be excluded under law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Praxis after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
